Tiny Mutiny offers creative teenagers the opportunity to realise their artistic ideas with support from a professional mentor along with a production budget. Teenagers can apply with an idea focusing on creative practices like theatre, visual art, dance, film, circus, writing, digital media, graffiti, music etc. Click below to view the videos and info.

Tiny Mutiny was commissioned by Galway County Council Arts Office in partnership with Sparkcatchers! and was supported by Galway County Council and The Arts Council. First Sparks funded by Creative Ireland Programme

2023

Sparkcatchers! was commissioned by Galway County Council to complete an action research report interviewing youth arts organisations and inspired by ground breaking Broei in the Netherlands. This research led to Tiny Mutiny 2026, 2025 & 2024.

2022

Tiny Mutiny/An Ceannairc Beag Bídeach commissioned by Baboró International Arts Festival for Children in partnership with Sparkcatchers! through an Young People, Children and Education (YPCE) Arts Council 70th Anniversary Commission Award, in association with Galway City Museum & Ionad Cultúrtha an Phiarsaigh, supported by The Begin Together Arts Fund and TG4.
